Acrylic on 16 X 20 panels

First painting in the “Lost In.. ” series of 5 paintings…

This one just flowed… No pencil, models, pictures to inspire… Picked up the paints and brush and three hours later this is what emerged. ♥

This one is my experience of a Divine embrace… has a feel of Krishna but not definite… there was no peacock intended… but many see a peacock in the painting.

I refer to my paintings as creations from stillness. I have found the best thing I can do as an artist is to get out of the way and let life paint what it wants to paint. I get inspiration about what each painting will be, and then, bit by bit, the general sense of it fills in, but that all comes from stillness, too.
